As part of the social dialogue conducted by Capital Park regarding the Nowy Wełnowiec development, two further meetings were held with groups of future users of the space—the Katowice City Seniors’ Council and young people from the Ulica Foundation.
The meeting with the Seniors’ Council took place at the Katowice City Council headquarters and brought together people interested in our investment. The seniors responded positively to the project assumptions, particularly emphasizing the importance of comfortable, barrier-free spaces, the green character of the district, and opportunities to develop social activities.
The second meeting was held with young people from the Ulica Foundation. The workshop-based format allowed participants to creatively express their expectations of a space where they would like to spend their time. The discussion was dynamic and full of engagement.
In both groups, participants expressed the belief that Nowy Wełnowiec could become a place where they would like to live and spend time—which for us is the best confirmation that the chosen direction of work is the right one.
